With our extremely rare single IBAN multi-currency account, we are able to assist with a variety of different payment needs, including business payment solutions, personal payments abroad (for example buying a property), travel money, as well as the ability to offer interest on deposits. Supplementing this, we also support the global supply chain of wholesale banknotes through our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and partnership with the US Federal Reserve Bank, to build deeper payment relationships with international banking customers.
It is through obtaining our own banking and payment licenses, the acquisition of two banking platforms and access to 16+ liquidity providers that we are able to proposition a trailblazing FinTech payment infrastructure that simplifies our customer’s diverse business needs and reduce their costs. Role Purpose
As an Account Executive in Moneycorp’s Commercial Sales team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving new business growth by converting high-quality SME opportunities into active, revenue-generating clients. This role focuses on delivering solution-led FX and international payment services to UK-based companies with up to £5m in annual traded FX flow.
You’ll own the end-to-end sales cycle—from qualification and needs analysis to proposal, onboarding, and first trade—while ensuring every interaction positions Moneycorp as a trusted partner. Success in this role means combining speed and precision with a deep understanding of FX risk, payment workflows, and sector-specific challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver New Business Acquisition
- Convert qualified leads from your individual outreach, BDEs, marketing campaigns, and partnerships into trading clients.
- Conduct structured discovery sessions, assess FX and payment needs, and deliver tailored proposals.
- Own client relationships through onboarding and first trade, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Engage senior finance stakeholders (FDs, Controllers, Treasurers) to position Moneycorp’s solutions effectively.
Deliver Solutions with Simplicity and Impact
- Present proposals using clear, relevant use cases that uncover and address clients foreign exchange pain points across international payments and hedging.
- Apply market insights around topics such as currency volatility, macroeconomic trends, working capital challenges - to develop bespoke solutions.
- Leverage sales enablement tools (playbooks, case studies, pricing models) to accelerate decision-making and close deals
Maximise Conversion and Pipeline Efficiency
- Work with RevOps and sales leadership to manage pipeline rigorously within the CRM with structured qualification and accurate forecasting.
- Act with urgency on fast-moving leads, maintaining momentum and supporting client onboarding through clear paths to trade.
- Escalate early for credit limits, onboarding clearance, or pricing sign-off to avoid delays.
Coordinate Internal Execution and Client Onboarding
- Manage internal stakeholders including compliance, credit, and onboarding teams to progress client accounts efficiently.
- Ensure all compliance and onboarding documentation is submitted accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain internal comms with Sales leadership, BDEs and Partnerships to report conversion and feedback.
Maintain and develop Markets & FX knowledge
- Develop a deep understanding of FX markets, risk management, and payment solutions.
- Gain exposure to structured products, credit decisioning, and sector-specific commercial strategies.
- Contribute to team learning initiatives and represent Moneycorp at targeted networking events.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years' B2B sales experience in FX, payments, financial services, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of international payments, FX solutions, and commercial risk.
- Proven ability to manage mid-market clients and deliver structured solutions.
- End-to-end sales experience, including closing and onboarding.
- Confident engaging senior finance decision-makers and influencing outcomes.
- Track record of hitting revenue targets and KPIs through disciplined sales processes.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position with an opportunity to work hybrid within Corporate Sales team based in our London office.
